A homoerotic portrait of a hairy bearded man showing armpits.
I'm taking my art to the next level and I'm working on some large works on canvas. These paintings have really thick paint and take quite a lot of time and materials to work on. I've been taking some of the smaller successful works and attempting to work on the same subjects again in a larger format where I can experiment with texture and mark making a little more.
In the studio shots you see a smaller version of the painting which is already sold (sorry). There is also a small preliminary drawing of this one available of the same subject here.
This is on gallery stretched canvas which means it is stapled on the back and the canvas wraps around the sides.
You won't need to frame this painting because the edges of the canvas are wrapped with canvas and are 2-3/8" deep (see one of the photo of the back and edge above.) The canvases themselves are a work of art and really well constructed.
There's just something about a hot young man and his armpits. This gentleman has that perfect hair and goatee beard that I always associate with a devilish person. The Falling forelock and the chest hair.
The size is a standard US frame size and can be framed inexpensively. Try buying a frame on the net.

Wow. I've admired Kenney's work for a while, and decided to purchase this work as a gift for a friend. Seeing his work in person is totally different from seeing the photos online... the textures and colors are beautiful. Too bad for my friend, I'm keeping this one for myself! It was packed very very well and arrived in perfect shape. Highly recommended!

I have admired this artist work for quite some time now and always wanted to acquire one of his pieces. I was lucky enough to find this one available and the seller was extremely helpful throughout the whole transaction. Upon receiving this item I was beyond astonished at the care given to how the item was shipped. Talk about professionalism to a T!!! I looked at this piece through strong light and very strong magnification and needless to say, I was totally overwhelmed by just the sheer technique and artistry of his work! My Lord, what an amazing talent he possesses!!! I’ll be purchasing many more items from him as soon as I possibly can. This is definitely going to be A focal point in my vast art collection!!!
